Zeolite is a crystalline, microporous aluminosilicate which consists of a group of hydrated aluminosilicates of alkali or alkaline earth metals. It is a crystalline of framework with three-dimensional tetrahedral structures like lithium, sodium, barium, calcium, magnesium, and potassium. It has applications in various end use industries which involve construction, water treatment, detergents etc. Zeolite consists of properties such as excellent high melting point, high-pressure resistance properties and high resistance to oxidation. Zeolites can be used together with activated carbon, whereas activated carbon or the polymer operates at higher concentrations and the zeolite as polishing for lower concentrations.
